Today, I’m happy to give you my review of Eden Body Works‘ hair products. Also, I’m thrilled to announce MANE MAN’s very first giveaway! Read below for my product review and LEAP DAY GIVEAWAY details!
Peppermint Tea Tree Shampoo: The consistency is pretty standard and the only amber-colored product in the line up which makes it easy to identify while I’m fumbling for products in the shower. It’s a good substitution for traditional shampoos. It cleans my hair to the point of squeaking so I try not to use it too often. Otherwise, it’s a decent product with great ingredients.
Peppermint Tea Tree Conditioner: Man, I LOVE the smell of this stuff. Part of my recent love affair with peppermint has to be because of this and the hair milk especially. This left my hair feeling moisturized after use, but I could have used a lot more slip for detangling. Overall, the Peppermint Tea Tree Conditioner offers moisture and the healing properties of tea tree oil which is great for your hair AND scalp.
Peppermint Tea Tree Hair Milk: ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE! Lately, I’ve been trying to find a good leave in conditioner but have not been successful…that is, until now. Many moons ago I tried a popular brand’s hair milk and was greatly disappointed, but this Peppermint Tea Tree Hair Milk has restored my faith! It gave me good slip and lasting moisture for days which has been great this season. It’s super lightweight and smells great. When I first put this on my hair, it actually reminded me of those little peppermint candies I used to steal take from my grandmother’s purse! Everything about this stuff is great…I could go on for days. I only used it for a “wash and go” but I imagine it would be great for use with any hair style. And good news, the winner of the LEAP DAY GIVEAWAY will win a free full-sized hair milk of his very own!
Peppermint Tea Tree Hair Oil: I have been trying to use more and more oils, the one difficulty I face is distribution. I often find myself asking, “But how do I get the oil on my scalp through all this hair!?” Well, problem solved! Seriously, the spray nozzle is genius. The oil shoots out in a concentrated stream so be sure to follow the instructions by holding the canister at least 6 inches from your scalp. It softens my hair and gives my scalp a little extra T.L.C. that it needs this Winter. I would definitely recommend this if you need/like oils for your scalp. Buenísimo!
Peppermint Tea Tree Temple Balm: This balm comes in a super sized metal tin which definitely gets you more bang for your buck. Unfortunately, the texture of my balm was a little grainy which made it difficult to emulsify in my hands completely. Maybe I got a bad batch?! This is probably better suited for those looking to give their edges a little extra attention.
